2. Harry’s (Some outlets can see fireworks!)
Your neighbourhood pub is getting patriotic with some of its culinary offerings! For a limited time, Harry’s puts local flavours in the forefront with bar grub of Laska Popcorn Chicken ($9), which you can smear with laksa mayo, and an old-school favourite Otah Toasties ($9) featuring spicy fish cake laid on a slice toasted bread. And because Harry’s is primarily a watering hole, parched imbibers can look to the pub’s take on the Singapore Sling ($17), featuring a mix of gin, orange curacao, benedictine, and cherry brandy, or the Bandung Cino ($16) of vodka, rose and cream. To make the festivities that much sweeter, head on down to Harry’s outlets at Boat Quay, Esplanade and Marina Bay Link Mall as the firework spectacle is in full view!
