Grand Hyatt Singapore presents an interactive dining experience with the world’s smallest chef, Le Petit Chef.
The 2-hour immersive dining adventure will take place from 5 September to 30 December 2019 at mezza9’s wine cellar, La Cave.
The dinner will follow the footsteps of Marco Polo across the Silk Road. Powered by overhead projectors and 3D digital projection mapping, Le Petit Chef comes to life as he is projected on diners’ plates and their table, taking them on a journey across oceans and continents as he digitally prepares their food before their eyes.
Similar to theatre performances, music and props will also be used to complete the visual delight and set the right mood for Le Petit Chef as diners embark on the next chapter and dish.
4 exclusive 6-course menus for every palate
Working closely with Le Petit Chef, Grand Hyatt Singapore’s Executive Sous Chef Steffan Heerdt and his team will deliver 4 exclusive 6-course menus with dishes of Middle Eastern, Indian, and Chinese influence to complement Marco Polo’s worldly adventures.
The menus are available during lunch and dinner. The sets are titled Marco Polo’s Journey ($188++), Marco Polo’s Expedition ($288++), Marco Polo’s Kid’s Adventure for children age 4 to 12 ($88), and Marco Polo’s Vegan Voyage ($188++).
If you prefer to have alcohol as you head, enhance the experience with three alcohol pairing packages (Journey $88++, Expedition $148++, Around the World $208++) that offer a selection of 6 wines and champagne that have been carefully paired with each dish, including Dom Perignon Champagne, Stags Leap wines from USA, Inniskillin dessert wines, and more.
Online reservations are strongly recommended. Do not reach the restaurant to find it fully booked. Diners are advised to arrive at least 15 minutes before their session as the animation will start and end for all diners at the same time.
