The prestigious Asia's 50 Best Bars recently held the fourth edition of its annual awards ceremony at the Capitol Theatre on 9th May, celebrating the best of cocktail culture in Asia.
Having a vibrant cocktail scene, and no lack of creativity (despite what some may think) - especially if you've been to Singapore Cocktail Festival - it's not surprising that 11 bars from Singapore claimed spots on the Asia's 50 Best Bars 2019 list!

2. Native (No.4)
Using only regional ingredients, you’ll find familiar flavours given a creative twist in Native‘s cocktails. From locally-distilled gin, to fresh ingredients like soursop, dragonfruit, pandan and candlenut; you’ll be hard pressed to find such natural flavours elsewhere! With a focus on the natural, as well as creativity and sustainability (straws here are made from lotus stems, while the coasters are reusable lotus leaves); Native is also known for its signature Antz cocktail that has, yes, ants sprinkled atop the cocktail as a garnish!
