The prestigious Asia’s 50 Best Bars recently held the fourth edition of its annual awards ceremony at the Capitol Theatre on 9th May, celebrating the best of cocktail culture in Asia.
Having a vibrant cocktail scene, and no lack of creativity (despite what some may think) – especially if you’ve been to Singapore Cocktail Festival – it’s not surprising that 11 bars from Singapore claimed spots on the Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2019 list!

Here’s a closer look at the Singaporean winners:
1. Manhattan (No.2)
A stalwart in the bar scene, Manhattan was awarded the The Best Bar in Singapore, as well as the Legend of the List Award, which celebrates the bar that has most consistently proven its excellence over the history of the list. Despite losing its top spot on the overall list to The Old Man Hong Kong, Manhattan continues to reign with its grandiose decor and classic, Golden Age-inspired cocktails. They also serve up an indulgent cocktail brunch on Sundays that is not to be missed!
