Creative concept by BreadTalk Group, Butter Bean has unveiled its second outlet at VivoCity!
Butter Bean’s second outlet has a larger space than its Funan store with a seating capacity of 70 (50 with the current social distancing measures). The brand-new outlet also spots a welcoming yellow interior with a vibrant ‘Cherry to Cup’ wall mural illustrated by local creative studio 8EyedSpud. You can’t miss this store when you are at VivoCity.
Re-interpreted well-loved Singaporean dishes, bakes and sandwiches are also freshly prepared on the premises daily – no pork or lard is used. Classic toasts are reimagined at Butter Bean. Each of the eight options (S$2 onwards per toast) presents a different topping on an inch-thick Butter Bean signature butter loaf.
With an additional S$3, you can enjoy your choice of toast as a set that includes two eggs; Traditional half-boiled or Hanjuku-style with a molten center, and a regular cup of hot Nanyang-brewed Kopi or Teh – a top-up charge of S$0.50 and S$0.70 applies for large hot drinks and specialty drinks respectively.
Butter Bean uses the Torrefacto method to roast its custom blend of Arabica and Robusta beans – the beans are coated with a layer of caramelised sugar before roasting.
For a satisfying meal, have a go at Butter Bean’s selection of sandwiches. Each butter toast pocket is brimming with omelette, sliced cheese, butterhead lettuce, as well as a choice of protein.
If you are someone who prefers a fuller main, they have got that covered as well. A crowd pleaser, Curry On Sunshine offers the familiar taste of Singapore-style curry; juicy and crispy fried chicken thigh paired with
steamed rice cloaked in luscious scrambled eggs and served with a fragrant curry with potatoes.
Other hearty options include the spicy and aromatic Laksa Love, Hey You Hae Mee and Taiwan-inspired Braise Me Up are available too.
Butter Bean VivoCity is located at 1 HarbourFront Walk, #01-207, Singapore 098585.
