It’s almost like spending the Easter weekend with Jamie Oliver when you dine at his restaurant Jamie’s Italian from 30 March to 1 April. The British chef will be sending forth a slew of roast specials to fill the bellies, starting with Forum’s Gennaro’s Mix Grill ($58.95), a gut-busting platter of pork sausages, herb-marinated striploin and tender chicken breast served with chargrilled Portobello mushrooms. If that doesn’t tickle your fancy, head to its second outlet at VivoCity where you can indulge in the Weekend Roast Plank ($88) of pasta made indulgent with roasted Italian Porchetta with chargrilled root vegetable and stewed cabbage. To keep up with tradition, both VivoCity and Forum offers freshly baked hot cross buns.
