Royal Plaza on Scott will send you a gastronomic ride on the award-winning buffer restaurant Carousel this Easter Sunday with its lunch buffet spread ($68 per pax), hosed down with showers of free-flow champagne. The one-day culinary event is set to offer traditional favourites such as oven-roasted whole baby lamb, hot cross buns and colourful boiled eggs, along with an array of seafood, including boiled maine lobsters and freshly shucked oysters. Sweet Easter treats are offered in the form of carrot cake with cheese frosting, simnel cake, and chocolate orange tarts. A Kid’s Corner is sectioned off to keep the little bunnies entertained with cartoons and cupcake decorating, while the grown-ups can imbibe on the glasses of Duval-Leroy champagne. Look out for the Easter Bunny mascot that will be giving out chocolate eggs to attending patrons.
