It seems the fates of character-themed cafés are rather volatile. It's either they tide through the hype and become permanent fixtures in the culinary scene, or unfortunately fizzle out, along with the demise of their adorable characters. So it doesn't come as a surprise that pop-up cafés look to be more popular amongst business owners, where they can cash in on these fun concepts without succumbing to the possibility of being irrelevant soon after. Well, not that we're complaining as most of them prove to be a 'first-and-last-time' kind of visit.
Here are 10 you should pop by before we (inevitably) welcome more next year:

4. DC Comics Super Heroes Café
Since it opened its doors a little more than two years ago, the first official DC Comics Super Heroes cafe in Singapore has attracted fans from all over hankering for a taste of their favourite superheroes. This year end, in line with the Justice League movie, DC Super Heroes is launching the all-new Justice League Menu, with mains and desserts which feature six of the Justice League superheroes – namely Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash, and Cyborg.
Our favourite new menu is the Justice League Pizza ($24.90), and ultimate pizza that will save any party with six distinctive flavours served on a single platter to suit any taste buds, like eggplant capsicum, seafood scallops with prawns, chicken hotdog, shiitake mushroom, trio cheese, and strawberry honey ham pineapple.
