From Dec 1, welcome the festivities with a seasonal meal at Lewin Terrace — a unique Japanese-French restaurant housed in a colonial heritage bungalow on Fort Canning.

Star chef Keisuke Matsumoto’s brand new Sho-Mi menu reflects the winter season, featuring seasonal ingredients imported directly from Japan.

Diners can expect sumptuous delicacies, including Hassun-Hokkaido Crab Cocktail and Foie Gras Medal; Abalone and Truffle Fricasse; Tempura Eel Risotto; Grilled Japanese Wagyu; and Lewin Spice Roasted Lamb.

3. Christmas drinks

Iconic red cups may be taking Instagram by storm, but other exciting festive drinks aren’t far behind.

From Nov 5 to Jan 6, Costa Coffee will be serving four new drinks in celebration of the Christmas season. Choose from flavours including the signature Caramel Popcorn Latte, Caramel Fudge Chocolate Frostino, Caramel Popcorn Latte Frostino and Caramel Fudge Hot Chocolate; and enjoy them with bites like the Christmas Mince Pie and Yule Log.

1. A real-life Egyptian mummy

History buffs, what a time to be alive! Get up close to valuable artifacts from the British Museum in London, from  the “unlucky mummy” rumoured to have sunk the Titanic to Sir Stamford Raffles’ personal items, such as a kris and scabbard dating back to the early 19th century.
