The Asia-wide talent search for exceptional home cooks and presenters has begun – two outstanding talents will be crowned Asian Food Channel and Food Network’s next Food Heroes!
In last year’s Food Hero Campaign, Sarah Benjamin from Singapore and Michele Lean from Malaysia beat over 270 competitors to win the “Food Hero” title, earning them a chance to star in “Must Try! Asia” on Asian Food Channel and “Food Wars Asia” on Food Network respectively.
The hunt is now on for this year’s Food Hero 2015.
Exciting Food Competition
Until Jun 28, aspiring talents will be able to download the new Food Hero app from www.foodhero.asia where they can upload video entries of themselves preparing and presenting a culinary dish or introducing their favourite dishes. The app, which is available on App Store for Apple’s iPhone and Google Play for Android phones, will also feature tips on how to shoot a submission video as well as clips from last year’s Food Hero winners .
Five finalists will then be shortlisted based on their personality and on-screen appeal for a series of online culinary and travel-themed challenges. After this, the finalists will be further whittled to four and will be flown to Singapore to showcase their hosting and cooking abilities for a chance to be crowned Asia’s next Food Hero.
