The prestigious netball Nations Cup tournament returns for its ninth edition this December with newly-crowned Asian Champion and host Singapore welcoming tough opposition from the likes of Botswana, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, the Republic of Ireland and Samoa, ranked 14th in the world.

6 Days of Excitement

Over Dec 7 to 13, each of these competitive teams will face one another in the six-day tournament, before reaching the final in a bid to become the esteemed Nations Cup 2014 Champions.

The teams from the continents of Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania will certainly entertain you with their unique flair and passion for the game. One can expect a veritable clash of the continents.

Asian Champions Singapore

Singapore, recently crowned Asian Champions in the Asian Netball Championships in September and ranked 19th in the world, will have a real fight on its hands against such world-class opposition. Nonetheless, this will be the perfect build-up ahead of next year’s SEA Games 2015 as well as the Netball World Cup after that.

Netball lovers will be sure to enjoy this tournament of nations. You can lend your support to our national team and give our girls that added home-crowd boost.

The Nations Cup 2014 begins in nine days, and will be held at the OCBC Arena at the new Singapore Sports Hub.
