This weekend, bring the kids — and even your furkids — along for a little adventure!

1. Turn A KFC Lunch Into A Wildlife Adventure For The Kids

If you’re looking for something to keep the kids entertained this weekend, even a KFC meal can now come with a mini wildlife adventure. KFC Singapore and Mandai X have launched their first Ranger Buddies collaboration, transforming participating KFC restaurants into Ranger Buddies Outposts for an entire year.

Order a qualifying Lil’ Bucket Meal and kids will receive a complimentary pack of collectible Ranger Buddies cards, with five new designs released each month. Each pack also includes a mission card that unlocks a digital activity and a chance to score rewards, including KFC food vouchers in October.

There are 60 cards to collect over 12 months, so little collectors might have their work cut out for them! A limited-edition KFC x Ranger Buddies Card Binder (S$29.90) is also available at KFC Kallang and online for keeping the collection together.

2. Last Chance to Catch In Good Company’s Pet Pop-Up in Joo Chiat

It’s the final weekend of In Good Company’s Pet Pop-Up with Woof Living in Joo Chiat, so if your furry friend deserves a little weekend shopping spree, this is your last chance to check it out.

The stylish pet-focused pop-up brings together thoughtfully designed everyday essentials from Lambwolf Collective, pet-friendly treats by In Good Thyme, and ceramic feeders by Mud Rock Ceramics — think practical pieces for play, care and daily routines, all with a chic, design-led touch.

And there’s an extra reason to visit on 3 October 2026, when Joo Chiat Road goes car-free. Bring your pup along for LICKED’s Pawpsicles (S$3), while you enjoy botanical gelato from Birds of Paradise or MIURA’s new Durian Daifuku (S$8), and make an afternoon of exploring the neighbourhood together.

Find the pop-up at In Good Company, 221 Joo Chiat Road, Singapore 427483.

3. Gran Turismo World Series Makes Its Singapore Debut at Marina Bay Sands

The Gran Turismo World Series is coming to Singapore for the first time, with Round 3 of the 2026 championship taking place at Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands, on 3 October 2026.

Marking the racing series’ first-ever stop in Southeast Asia, the Gran Turismo World Series Singapore 2026 event will be held in partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board as part of Grand Prix Season Singapore, ahead of the Formula 1 race weekend from 9 to 11 October.

Round 3 will be an important stop for the world’s top Gran Turismo competitors, serving as the final opportunity to score points in both the Manufacturers Cup and Nations Cup before the World Finals in December.

Local racing fans also have a chance to get involved through the Singapore Regional Gran Turismo Cup. Following an in-game Gran Turismo 7 Time Trial Challenge, the six fastest competitors from Singapore, together with the fastest racers from participating markets including Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, South Korea, Malaysia and Indonesia, will be invited to compete in a special support race onstage in Singapore.

For motorsport and gaming fans, it’s another reason to get into the racing spirit as Grand Prix Season Singapore 2026 gets underway.

4. Sunday Yoga Meets a Pretty in Kunafa Afternoon Tea at Goodwood Park Hotel

Sunday morning yoga followed by an afternoon tea buffet sounds like a pretty perfect way to spend the weekend.

For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Goodwood Park Hotel’s L’Espresso is going pink and green with its new Pretty in Kunafa Afternoon Tea Buffet, featuring the crisp Middle Eastern pastry across both sweet and savoury creations alongside L’Espresso’s signature buffet spread.

There’s an extra reason to visit this Sunday, 4 October 2026, when the hotel kicks off its October Sunday yoga sessions with Jal Yoga at L’Espresso’s Poolside Terrace from 10am to 11am, followed by afternoon tea from 12pm to 2.30pm. Yoga is limited to just 25 participants.

Afternoon tea is S$68++ per adult and S$46++ per child. Throughout October and November, Goodwood Park Hotel will also donate S$2 nett for every paying adult to the Breast Cancer Foundation.

Find it at L’Espresso, Goodwood Park Hotel, 22 Scotts Road.

5. A Taste of Hong Kong Comes to The Fullerton Hotel Singapore

From 16 to 31 October 2026, Town Restaurant at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore will host its first Singapore–Hong Kong culinary collaboration with The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong.

Hong Kong Sous Chef Joy Lui is bringing flavours inspired by cha chaan tengs, neighbourhood restaurants and street-food favourites to Singapore. The dishes will be incorporated into Town Restaurant’s existing Treasures of the Sea Dinner Buffet, which means the Hong Kong selections come alongside its seafood spread. The collaboration is available Tuesday to Saturday from 16 to 31 October.

Fans of Netflix’s Culinary Class Wars now have another reason to head to Hougang. Chef Yohan Min has opened Sansok at Hougang Mall, serving his take on the Korean tradition of han-sang — a complete meal of rice, soup, banchan and a main dish.

Lunch sets start from just S$12.90++, including sotbap rice, soup, four banchan and access to a free-flow banchan station. Highlights include charcoal-grilled mackerel, Soy Garlic Dakgalbi, Tteokgalbi with king oyster mushrooms and charcoal-grilled beef dishes.

7. Spice Up Your Weekend with Cointreau Spicy Cocktails

Prefer to end the weekend with a drink rather than another dessert? Cointreau Spicy has landed in Singapore, and bars around the island are shaking up chilli-spiked cocktails throughout October.

The new 30% ABV orange liqueur combines Cointreau’s signature citrus notes with Bird’s Eye chilli, chilli and jalapeño flavours, balanced with cucumber for a fresher finish. Expect a gentle kick rather than overwhelming heat, especially in classics like Margaritas, Palomas and Highballs.

You can try it at participating bars including Papi’s Tacos, The Bar at 15 Stamford, EL CHIDO, Mars Bar, Mnemonic Brew & Craft and Flying Squirrel. All four Papi’s Tacos outlets are joining the fun, with limited-edition Cointreau merchandise up for grabs via scratch-card redemptions with selected cocktail purchases.

For a Saturday night out, head to Papi’s Tacos Katong at 450 Joo Chiat Road, which stays open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

8. Marina Square Singapore Presents SESAME STREET MAGICAL ART WORLD

Looking for something colourful to do with the kids this weekend? Sesame Street MAGICAL ART WORLD is back at Marina Square with Chapter 2, bringing contemporary art, interactive installations and plenty of photo-worthy moments featuring your favourite Sesame Street characters.

Make a weekend hunt out of finding the giant inflatables around the mall, including an impressive 7-metre Cookie Monster, alongside Elmo, Bert and Count von Count. Then head to Level 3 for a multi-sensory experience filled with neon lights, floral installations, colourful shadow play, musical pipes, fisheye mirrors and a Doodle Wonderland where little ones can get creative.

A 30-minute admission pass for two can be redeemed with S$20 spent on weekdays or S$30 on weekends (Friday–Sunday) at Marina Square. Complete the activity booklet, and you can also bring home a limited-edition artist-designed sticker as a little weekend keepsake.

9. Hunt Down Butterbear at Orchard Gateway

Butterbear has landed at Orchard Gateway, and you do not need a ticket to join in the fun. From now until 9 October 2026, shoppers can take part in the Butterbear Happy Quest, an interactive hunt that sends participants searching for 10 checkpoints hidden around the mall. Follow the digital map, spot Butterbear dressed in different looks along the way, and complete the quest to qualify for a prize redemption during the designated collection period, while stocks last.

Even if scavenger hunts are not your thing, the mall has Butterbear installations dotted around for photos, making this an easy stop if you are already spending the afternoon in Orchard.

There are shopping rewards too. Spend at least S$120 to receive a S$10 voucher and one hour of complimentary parking, or hit S$250 to unlock an additional Butterbear Blind Box containing one of four eco bag and charm designs, while stocks last.

The much-hyped Butterbear Happy Walk itself takes place on 17 October 2026 and is already sold out, but the mall activities offer everyone else a chance to get in on the Butterbear fever.

Orchard Gateway is located at 277 Orchard Road, Singapore 238858.

10. BIRKENSTOCK and ETRO Introduce New Collaboration

First unveiled at ETRO’s Fall/Winter 2026 runway show during Milan Fashion Week, the BIRKENSTOCK by ETRO collaboration has now launched worldwide, giving two iconic BIRKENSTOCK silhouettes — the Boston and Gizeh — a distinctly ETRO makeover.

The collection brings together ETRO’s signature paisley motifs, rich textures and intricate detailing with BIRKENSTOCK’s functional design. Think elaborate embroidery, Western-inspired buckles, Pegasus-branded rivets and metallic accents, paired with tonal leather-wrapped cork-latex footbeds and the signature bone-pattern outsole.

Available in Chocolate and Taupe, the Boston features embroidered paisley detailing that extends the collaboration’s maximalist-meets-practical aesthetic. The Gizeh takes a bolder approach, transforming the familiar sandal with dramatic long fringes that add plenty of movement and texture.

The first drop of BIRKENSTOCK by ETRO is available globally via 1774.com, etro.com and selected ETRO and BIRKENSTOCK boutiques and retail partners.
