Singapore’s sporting calendar is getting a major boost this September as the Singapore Tennis Open 2026 returns to the OCBC Arena from 21 to 27 September.
After a successful debut as a WTA 250 event last year, the tournament has been officially upgraded to WTA 500 status, making it the only tournament of its kind in Southeast Asia.

This year’s tournament features a 28-player singles draw, a 16-team doubles draw and approximately US$1.2 million in prize money. Main draw matches take place from 21 to 27 September, while qualifying rounds begin on 19 and 20 September.
