A Whimsical My Little Pony Cafe Pop-Up Lands At Wong Fu Fu

This March, Wong Fu Fu embraces playful fantasy with a limited-time My Little Pony pop-up in Singapore, transforming the café into a pastel-hued escape inspired by friendship, nostalgia and a touch of sparkle.

Launching on Friday, 27 March 2026, the collaboration brings the colourful world of Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy and Applejack to life in a dining experience designed as much for photo moments as it is for indulgence. Timed to the Year of the Horse, the pop-up feels especially fitting—wrapping the warmth of childhood nostalgia around Korean-inspired comfort food, novelty drinks and shareable desserts.

For many people, My Little Pony is more than a cartoon or toy line. It sits somewhere in the memory as a symbol of colour, optimism and that very specific kind of childhood magic where kindness, loyalty and friendship were not abstract ideas, but the centre of the story. At Wong Fu Fu, that sensibility is translated into a café experience that feels lighthearted rather than overly curated. The mood is playful, the visuals are deliberately sweet, and the menu embraces the fantasy rather than holding back.

At the centre of the experience is a menu that leans cheerful and camera-ready without forgetting the comfort-food appeal people actually come back for. One of the headline dishes is the Superrr Magical! Korean Fried Chicken Burger (S$22.90++): a crisp, golden-fried chicken burger, glazed in sweet soy garlic and tucked inside a purple mantou bun. It is layered with tomatoes, lettuce and melted cheddar, then finished with visual touches inspired by Twilight Sparkle. On the side, there is a fresh salad, golden fries and adorable cheese stars that make the plate feel more like part of the set design than an afterthought. It is the kind of dish that understands the assignment: cute enough to photograph, but still grounded in flavours people genuinely enjoy.

For those who want something a little richer, the We’re Magic Together Grilled Salmon Truffle Cream Pasta ($23.90++) offers a more familiar café classic.
Truffle cream pasta is already a crowd-pleaser, but here it is upgraded with Japanese shiitake mushrooms and a slice of grilled salmon, then dressed up with the kind of whimsical finishing details the pop-up is built around. There is a My Little Pony topper, the signature cheese stars, and just enough visual flair to tie it back to the theme without overwhelming the dish itself.

Breakfast lovers, or simply those drawn to all-day brunch-style comfort, may find themselves leaning toward the Mornings…What Ever Great Morning Breakfast (S$24.90++). The platter brings together tater tots, scrambled eggs, grilled chicken sausage, turkey bacon, mini pancakes, salad and cheese stars, all served in a specially themed presentation box. It feels generous, fun and slightly nostalgic, much like the franchise itself.

The drinks lean fully into spectacle, embracing café culture’s love for eye-catching, photo-ready moments. The Fluffy Cloud Iced Chocolate with Strawberry Sauce is topped with cotton candy and a Twilight Sparkle card, while the Floaty Cloud Matcha Strawberry Latte pairs Kyoto matcha, milk and strawberry sauce with a cotton candy cloud and a Rainbow Dash card—each one part drink, part dessert, part visual treat. Both are priced at S$13.90++, with simpler versions at S$12.90++.

The most overtly theatrical drink, however, may be the sparkling soda served in a glowing Galaxy Light Cup. Available in Bubbly Muscat Grape and Lychee Rose Soda at S$11.90++, it features a playful bubble on top that releases strawberry-scented smoke when popped.

Then there is dessert, which is where the pop-up really taps into the collectible, giftable aspect of character culture. The My Little Pony Dessert Platter (S$32.90++) features eight mini desserts and comes with a free My Little Pony Magic Potion blind box (worth S$16.90). It is an especially clever menu item because it combines several things people already love: miniature desserts, surprises, and exclusive collectible tie-ins. The blind box element adds a little thrill to the end of the meal, making dessert feel more interactive. You are not just ordering sweets; you are also unboxing a character and extending the experience beyond the table.

If that all sounds delightfully over the top, Wong Fu Fu has not stopped there. In celebration of International Bubble Tea Day this April, the café is also bringing back its Ultimate MEGA Bubble Tea (S$29.90++). This is not subtle. It is a five-litre serving of bubble milk tea, filled with 1 kg of boba pearls and generous brown sugar balls. Whether ordered for a group or by someone feeling particularly brave, it adds another layer of fun to the overall experience.

Wong Fu Fu’s My Little Pony pop-up is a playful, nostalgic escape—perfect for photos, treats, and a dose of feel-good magic this March.
