Much-Loved Filipino Cafe Mary Grace Makes Its Heartwarming Debut In Singapore

Singapore is about to experience a taste of heartfelt Filipino tradition as Mary Grace, the Philippines’ beloved bakery café, makes its long-awaited international debut.

(L – R) From baking and decorating birthday cakes for her children, attending a baking course in West Valley, California, to the very first Mary Grace stall, these are the beginnings of Mary Grace’s journey

Mary Grace’s story is deeply rooted in her home. It began in 1994 at a modest kitchen table, where founder Mary Grace Dimacali, a mother of five, poured her passion for baking into every batch she made. What started as treats shared with loved ones and sold at local bazaars slowly grew, driven by dedication, craft, and a commitment to quality.

By 2002, Mary Grace opened its first official stall. Today, after years of thoughtful growth, the brand has blossomed into a cherished household name with more than 140 cafés and kiosks across the Philippines. Yet its heart remains unchanged — a celebration of warmth, connection, and the comforting feeling of being at home.

Now, after decades of bringing homemade goodness to Filipinos, Mary Grace is finally stepping beyond its borders. Singapore will be its first international stop, beginning with an exclusive Christmas pop-up followed by a full-fledged café.

For Ms. Dimacali, bringing Mary Grace to Singapore is the culmination of a life’s work — a belief that “home” is universal, built wherever love, care, and meaningful moments thrive. The hope is that everyone who walks through its doors will find a sense of belonging, making Mary Grace a true home away from home.

The Main Event: First Café Opening in 2026

Mary Grace’s first international café is set to open in Singapore in the first half of 2026. The space will mirror the brand’s signature cozy charm — warm, inviting, and filled with the irresistible aroma of freshly baked pastries.

Alongside its iconic bakes and beloved hot chocolate, the new café will also introduce Singapore-exclusive offerings, thoughtfully crafted with the same care and soul that define its menus in Manila.

A Sweet Preview: Online Christmas Pop-Up

Fans won’t have to wait until 2026 to get a taste. From late November to December 2025, Mary Grace will launch an online-exclusive Christmas pop-up — a continuation of earlier trials that sold out in hours.

The pop-up will feature two of the brand’s most iconic generational favourites:

– Ensaymadas (S$31.50 for six)
A delicate, buttery Filipino classic with Spanish roots, topped generously with aged Edam cheese (Queso de Bola) from Holland for a light, fluffy, melt-in-the-mouth experience.

– Cheese Rolls (S$24.50 for six)
Soft, comforting rolls with a velvety cheese centre, lightly dusted with sugar that caramelises to form a subtle crunch when toasted — the perfect mix of textures.

Orders can be made on Mary Grace Singapore’s official website.

These treats make thoughtful gifts for the festive season, and with past pop-ups selling out fast, early pre-orders are strongly encouraged.

Mary Grace’s arrival in Singapore is more than an expansion — it’s an invitation to pause, savour, and rediscover the simple, heartfelt goodness that makes food feel like home.
