The Singapore Art Book Fair is back for the third time

Held at the ArtScience Museum from Apr 15 to 17, the Singapore Art Book Fair is back again to showcase the best in local arts publishing.
The book fair, which is organised by BooksActually, will showcase art books, magazines, zines and new publications over the course of three days.
There will be a total of 34 local and international exhibitors including book publishers from Thailand, Vietnam, and the United Kingdom.
Here are five things you should not miss if you plan on heading down to the Singapore Art Book Fair.
1. Musical performances by .gif
The young electronic musicians will be performing live on opening night on Apr 14 at 7pm. Their music is hauntingly beautiful and will definitely set the tone for the event.
2. Poetry readings
Ten Year Series will be conducting poetry reading sessions in conjunction with ArtScience Late. The Proletariat Poetry Factory will also be providing customisable typewritten poetry on site.
3. Live mural paintings
The team from Tell Your Children will be unveiling the process behind creating a mural painting. Their murals are always a surprise, come down and see what they have up their sleeves this time.
4. Meet André Chiang
Singapore’s top chef André Chiang of Restaurant André will be at the fair on Apr 16 to talk about the creative process behind his forthcoming book, Octaphilosophy.
5. Urban farming workshop
Super Farmers will be holding urban farming workshops on Apr 17. They will be teaching busy urbanites how to grow and maintain their own plants sans the fuss.
