3. Preikestolen, Norway

An hour’s journey by ferry or car from the city of Stavanger will take you to the iconic Preikestolen, or commonly referred to as Pulpit Rock. Touted as one of the most attractive tourist attractions in Norway, the steep cliff is only accessible after a 3.8-kilometre long hike through the unleveled and rocky terrain. Therefore, avoid the winter season when the trail is slippery with snow and ice; instead, aim for the season from April to October for an easier hike. While a breathtaking view is indeed rewarding after the hike, why not take it up a notch? Scratch that. Take it up several notches by base jumping off the edge!
