5 Places To Check In For A Posh Foodie Weekend In Bangkok

Look no further than the City of Angels for a high-end eat fest holiday that doesn’t break the bank

Bangkok is one of Singaporeans’ favourite spots for a weekend getaway, especially for cheap street food and bargain shopping. But why go cheap when you can go chic in Bangkok for a fraction of the prices you would pay for similar offerings in other cities?

Getting There

There’s really no better way to start your trip to the Land of Smiles than with the national carrier (https://www.thaiairways.com) Experience the Thai hospitality on the national airline on your outgoing flight – the airlines flies from Singapore to Bangkok five times a day (and Bangkok to Singapore four times daily). Depending on flight time, you’d also start your truly Thai experience with delectable local cuisine made from Thai produce sourced under the Royal Projects, an initiative to promote sustainable farming in the country and to help farmers in the north. It certainly makes travel a more uplifting experience when you can make a positive impact, even if it’s indirect.
