From 25 August – 8 September 2019, come and experience the Mid-Autumn festival that celebrates Singapore’s Chinese heritage with nostalgia and anticipation at Chinatown. The theme for this year is “Bicentennial Mid-Autumn Festival 2019” (欢庆开埠两百年 花好月圆庆中秋).
Some activities that you can expect includes a daily dose of lion dance performances for the first time and a food trail where visitors can eat their way through 19 hawker stalls that are mainstays in the local hawker culture with at least 30 years of history each. So keep your stomach empty for this.
There is also a Lantern Painting Competition that is free to the public. Simply register, take part and win cash prizes!
For more information on these activities, members of the public can call Kreta Ayer CC at +65
