7. Shop till you drop!

What used to be called the Scott Market, the 70-year-old Bogyoke Aung San Market is now sprawling with over 2,000 shops, boasting the largest selection of clothing, textiles, handicrafts, souvenirs, and jewellery you can find in Myanmar. There will also be mouth-watering delicacies such as the kyeq k’auq-s’wèh (noodles in garlic oil, with pork and a watery soup) for you to indulge.
