After getting the festive munchies sorted out, it's time now to figure out what to do with the leftover time to last your Christmas soiree. To avoid all the ingredients such as pregnant pauses and waning small talk that make the perfect recipe of an awkward social situation, here are 10 Christmas-themed games to break the ice and let everyone be merry throughout the night.
3. Paper Plate Game
Hand out paper plates to each guest and tell them to put it on their head. From there, give a series of instructions for the guests to draw on their paper plates (on their heads) without looking. The instructions are: 1) Draw a line for a floor. 2) Draw a Christmas Tree. 3) Draw a star on top of your tree. 4) Draw a fireplace with a mantel next to the tree. 5) Draw a stocking hanging from the mantle of a fireplace. 6) Draw a present below the tree. Once done, everyone is to look at their drawings. Give out points to the accuracy of the drawing, such as if the tree touches the line, or the stocking is actually hung from the mantel.
