3. Pack some food

Long-haul flights come with meals, but they can take some time to arrive. Especially if you’re not a fan of airplane food, it’s wise to pack a few of your favourite snacks so you won’t feel hungry. Check what regulations your airline has for food on planes, but most do allow a range of non-liquid items from fruits to a real home-cooked meal of rice.
