INDOCAFÉ Peranakan Dining, nestled along Scotts Road in Orchard, has finally reopened with a new look!

Preserving the essence of Peranakan offerings, INDOCAFÉ upholds the culture and tradition within a secluded garden enclave, offering respite from the city’s hustle and bustle.

At INDOCAFÉ Peranakan Dining, traditional flavours take center stage. They are lovingly prepared by Chef Heng Eng Ho, who boasts over two decades of culinary expertise. Hailing from Penang, Chef Ho, a humble culinary virtuoso, constantly seeks innovative ways to preserve and share Peranakan cuisines and their rich culture.

Chef Ho

The best flavour, is the one you derive from being able to share and enjoy with your loved ones”, Chef Ho says. Embark on your Peranakan culinary journey with classic starters such as the Signature Kueh Pie Tee, Ngoh Hiang, or the hearty soup Itek Tim.

The main dishes feature Peranakan favourites like Babi Pongteh (S$28), Indocafe Wagyu Beef Rendang (S$38), and more adventurous choices like Udang Tempoyak Durian (S$36), combining Argentinean red prawns with generous servings of fermented durian tempoyak and vibrant red chili paste.

Sotong Masak Hitam

Squid presents a rich and savory Sotong Masak Hitam (S$26), featuring tender baby squid stir-fried with squid ink. This dish offers a delicate texture to counterbalance its intensity, enhanced by the infusion of premium soy sauce that produces explosive umami flavours.

Paired ideally with fragrant jasmine and brown mix rice, INDOCAFÉ Peranakan Dining elevates taste and luxury with inventive rice options such as the Buah Keluak Fried Rice (S$32/serves 2), infusing the buttery richness of buah keluak into smoky fried rice.

Kueh Salat

Conclude your meal with delightful Peranakan desserts such as Sago Gula Melaka  (S$14) and the Signature Kueh Salat (S$15).

INDOCAFÉ Peranakan Dining’s Signature Tasting Menu offers Chef Ho’s finest creations in a comprehensive culinary journey. Indulge in a six-course menu featuring soup, communal sharing dishes, and dessert, all for S$98++ per person.

INDOCAFÉ Peranakan Dining approaches its coffee offerings with equal dedication to its Peranakan cuisine, presenting unique blends that complement the richness of its culinary heritage—delight in the robust flavours of the Gesha Passiflora (S$19) sourced from Colombia. Perfected after a decade of collaboration and experimentation with local farmers to extract the finest flavour characteristics, this coffee boasts an exquisite acidity and an array of captivating notes. Experience a cup that blossoms with the vibrant essence of bergamot, passionfruit, peppermint, apricot, peaches, and jasmine, embodied in a medium-bodied brew. Another coffee to look forward to includes Kerinci (S$11), a punchy blend of beans grown on the ashy volcanic soil of Gunung Tujuh and Gunung Raya.

INDOCAFÉ is located at 35 Scotts Rd, Singapore 228227.
