We’ve heard reports about the Samsung Galaxy Note7 catching fire and exploding. While engineers are still working to find the root cause of the explosions, the company recently decided to halt the sales and production of the model.
If you’re a Samsung Galaxy Note7 user in Singapore, here’s what you should know:
1. Solution #1: You can exchange your Galaxy Note7 for another device. They will issue a refund of the price difference between the two devices (if any).*
2. Solution #2: You can return their Galaxy Note7 for a refund.*
3. Samsung is also looking into remedies for Galaxy Note7 customers who purchased the Samsung Concierge service.
4. If you have further questions and would like to speak to a Samsung rep, you can call 1800-SAMSUNG (7267864).
*Note: Samsung is currently in talks with local telecommunications operators and retail partners on how to go about a refund and exchange exercise. Customers will be notified on the processes and are encouraged to take up the options offered.
