Hi Jamie! What have you been busy with recently?

It definitely has been a busy time for me recently. I have been involved with a lot of projects, such as my regular evening show on Gold 90.5FM and “Inside Singapore”, a travel guide.

I also got to work on a project called 1Dream1Tree, an initiative that promotes sustainable production and consumption, especially of paper.

How have you been involved in 1Dream1Tree?

I got involved with 1Dream1Tree because it was something different; it taught me the importance of purchasing and consuming sustainably sourced products… [I] shared my learnings through my social media channels.

Why did you choose to be part of this campaign?

I have a young child, and as any devoted mother, I want the best for her. But for me, it isn’t just about what is best for her for now, but also for the future. I want to do my best to educate her and prepare her for what lies ahead.

Learning about sustainability should start young, through fun and engaging activities [so] it is easier for kids to ‘get it’ as supposed to just drilling facts into their heads.
