Rainforest Wild Asia, Mandai Wildlife Reserve’s newest park, opened on 12 March 2025. It features eight zones with open-concept habitats and houses 36 species, including the François’ langur and the Philippine spotted deer (both new to Singapore and endangered and recognized by the distinctive “A” pattern of beige spots on their deep brown backs and sides).

– Zones: The park includes zones like the Entrance Gorge, The Karsts, Forest Floor, The Outpost, The Canopy, Watering Hole, and The Cavern, each offering unique views and experiences. You can meet animals as you venture through the various zones and layers of the rainforest. One of the zones is the AIA Vitality Bounce, an open-sky play zone, 3-7m above ground, where you can leap between zones, climb nets, and race down a slide.
– Activities: Visitors can participate in adventure experiences such as the Canopy Jump (simulated free fall from a 13m or 20m platform) and Wild Apex Adventure (climbing across habitats).
– Wildlife: See animals like Malayan tigers, red-shanked douc langurs, and Malayan tapirs. The park also celebrated the birth of a Philippine spotted deer fawn.

5. Timezone’s “Month of Happiness” Unlocks Joy with Science
Timezone Singapore is returning its “Month of Happiness” from 14 to 31 March 2025, celebrating the International Day of Happiness on 20th March. This year, they’ve partnered with Happiness Initiative (a research-based social enterprise dedicated to promoting well-being) to highlight the scientific link between play and happiness, emphasizing how fun activities can reduce stress and enhance social connections.
Throughout the promotional period, Timezone venues will host a series of engaging activities, especially during weekends and school holidays. Expect surprise activities and game competitions, including classic games with a twist, like trivia shooting games and one-handed basketball challenges.
To enhance the fun, Timezone is offering special promotions and prizes. A S$38 reload will get you S$50 in-game credits. 6. Museum of Ice Cream’s Ice Cream Making Class Returns
The Museum of Ice Cream (MOIC) in Singapore is returning its popular Ice Cream Making Class this March school holidays, offering a fun and educational experience for children aged 12 and under. From 17 to 20 March 2025, young “scoops” can join MOIC’s “Scoop Professors” to learn the art of ice cream making, creating and tasting their sweet concoctions.
The classes aim to combine fun with a sprinkle of ice cream knowledge, ensuring kids leave with the skills to recreate their favorite treats at home. There will be four sessions daily, held at 11:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 4:00 p.m.

8. ‘Make Your Mark’ Unveils Sports Through Art at Singapore Sports Hub
The Singapore Sports Hub is introducing “Make Your Mark,” an engaging interactive arts program at the Singapore Sports Museum. This program will run from 22 February to 11 May 2025 and is in collaboration with local creative studio Knuckles & Notch. It aims to explore the dynamic intersection of sports, art, and culture, offering a unique experience for visitors. Free for all residents, the program invites participants to engage with sports beyond the traditional field through various artistic mediums.
A key highlight is the “Echoes of the Wave” exhibition, featuring 12 original risograph artworks by Knuckles & Notch, capturing iconic sporting moments, including three featuring Team Singapore athletes. Visitors can also pick up a free copy of “Out For Lunch – Sports Hub Edition,” a newsletter exploring lesser-known sporting events in Singapore, and embark on a stamping journey through the museum.
