Wildlife and technology intersect at this one-of-a-kind experience
Ever wondered what happens in the rainforest at night? Well, you’re about to find out as a new light is cast upon the Singapore Zoo later this year.
For the first time in Southeast Asia, Singapore Zoo presents Rainforest Lumina, a multimedia night walk on the wild side which brings guests into a lush and luminous universe. The attraction is set to be launch on 1 July.
Guests will be invited to explore a one-kilometre stretch of Singapore Zoo’s tropical rainforest at night while enjoying a mesmerising visual experience created by multimedia entertainment studio Moment Factory.
The unique multimedia experience of Rainforest Lumina is in perfect complement to the rich natural backdrop of the zoo, and offers visitors the opportunity to be inspired by the wonders of nature as they discover the rainforest by night, when the animals are asleep.
While the seasonal event only debuts in July, animal lovers can already start celebrating the zoo’s birthday by the end of May. Fun-filled activities at the zoo this school holiday period include the ever popular Zoolympix, animal-themed movies in the wild, picnics in the park, and even the opportunity to camp out under the stars during the Sleep with the Beasts programme, complete with a roaring campfire!
