School's out, fun's in!
Hurrah, the summer holidays are here! It's time to take that well-deserved break, and we don't mean just for kids and teenagers; parents, take this opportunity to hang out with the whole family. There are lots of fun family-friendly things to do around the city this June that combine playing and learning, and some of them have started already. So get out your calendar and make plans for an amazing summer!
3. See over 400 Alolan Pokémon at the Pokémon Carnival
Following Singapore’s first Pokémon GO Safari Zone, the Detective Pikachu movie, and more merchandise to come, the Pokémon mania is still strong. From 15 to 30 June, Sentosa Cove Village will be hosting an ultimate Pokémon Carnival featuring a whopping 403 Alolan Pokémon all at one place. A major highlight is the popular Pikachu Parade, where visitors can groove together with a long line of dancing Pikachus! Also, get up close to the adorable yellow creature during Pikachu meet-and-greet sessions, catch ’em all (in plushie form), play lots of fun Pokémon-themed carnival games, snap photos with Pokémon inflatables, and after a long day, kick back and watch family-friendly movies under the stars. Best of all, admission to the Pokémon Carnival is free!
