Singapore has just gotten a giant 81ha-large nature park – the largest one here to date – and it’s an exciting place to spend a weekend.

Chestnut Nature Park is located on the eastern end of Chestnut Avenue, right beside the Central Catchment Nature Reserve.

1. The two main areas

The park is split into two areas: the South and the North. Chestnut Nature Park (North) is about 64ha and just opened in February, while the southern portion opened last year.
