Fancy mooncakes handmade with love by Madam Leng? Yes, Leng Ah Eng is an actual person that Chinese restaurant Putien has sough out for her Teochew-style homemade mooncakes. Wrapped in a dough before fried to perfection, the flaky mooncakes are available in two flavours of yam and purple sweet potato, both of which are imported from Thailand and Japan respectively. While indulgent with its smooth and creamy filling, the mooncake variants boasts natural sweetness from the ingredients. There is also the option of an additional salted egg yolk for a savoury balance. The range is available until 24 September.
