Serves 2 - 4 people
- 500 ml dashi stock
- 400 g Korean rice cake
- 150 g fish cakes
- 4 Tbsp gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
- 2 Tbsp chili flakes
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 2 eggs, hard boiled and shelled, halved
- 1 stalk spring onion, cut 3 inches long for garnish
Step 2 – Make tteokbokki sauce
- In a pan on medium-high heat, combine dashi stock with gochujang, chili flakes and 1 Tbsp sugar.
- Stir well until boiling.
