Recipe: Pulut Durian by Asian Food Channel

Can’t decide if you’re a fan of this pungent fruit? This delicious sticky rice made with coconut milk, drizzled with durian gravy is sure to change your mind!

Ingredients

Serves 8 people

  • 500 g glutinous rice
    Soaked in 700 ml water overnight and drained
  • 2 ½ cup coconut milk
  • 2 cups water
  • 15 pieces durian
    With seeds intact
  • 2 Tbsp palm sugar
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 2 pandan leaves
    Tied together in a knot
  • 1 ½ tsp salt

Step 3 – Shape pulut

  • Take 1 Tbsp pulut and roll it into small balls using your hands. Repeat until all pulut is used up and set aside.
