The middle seat is the absolute scourge of air travelers. The window seat comes with a view, and the aisle provides easy access to the toilet but the middle seat has no benefit other than making the flyer feel cramped and squeezed in.
However, with the new Side-Slip seat, the middle seat might become the most sought after seat as passengers get two inches of space more than those at the aisle or window. The middle seats in the Side-Slip design also come with their own armrests, eliminating the need to battle with neighboring travelers for elbow space.
