Four more finalists before competition ends

The Australian government has launched a global competition for students with big aspirations to win a year of study in Australia, including flights, tuition, accommodation, a stipend and more.

Seven finalists will be flown to Australia for a two-week study tour in early Dec 2013 to meet with representations from our 22 sponsoring institutions. The major prize winner will be announced on Dec 17, 2013.

Visit www.futureunlimited.com.au before Nov 18, upload a photo, add illustrations, write within 50 words your future aspirations and how an Australian education would help you achieve them, and answer some basic questions before submitting the postcard.

Week 1-3 finalists announced

The first three finalists are Abigail Engleman from the United States, Mark Gil Caparros from the Philippines and Minh Nguyen from Vietnam. View your fellow Singaporeans’ postcard entries at http://futureunlimited.com.au/gallery.

Why Australia?

“The Australian education has instilled a sense of adventure – I found it incredibly endearing to find so many people from a disparate collection of cultures coming together, working with international project teams. This is why five out of 30 of the world’s best student cities are in Australia.” – Mark Koh, Founder/Entrepreneur, Cheeseshaker Pte Ltd

“Australia gave me ample opportunity to develop my interest in the law and legal research. It is also close to Singapore in terms of proximity and, culturally, it is easy to assimilate into due to the huge community of international students studying and living in Australia.” – Kenny Yang, Law Graduate
