Raffles’ 10th hotel opens in the ‘French Riviera’ of China
Raffles Hotels & Resorts has opened its latest and 10th hotel, in Hainan.
The luxury resort is in Clearwater Bay, the new hotspot on the southeast coast of Hainan Island – China’s answer to the French Riviera.
Clearwater Bay is an expansive development that encompasses the Raffles resort, two championship golf courses, private residences, luxury retail outlets, a cinema complex, yacht clubs and a 780-berth marina for sailing and water sports.
Gorgeous Views & Facilities
Clearwater Bay boasts 12km of beautiful coastline and Raffles Hainan enjoys a prime beachfront location with 299 rooms and 32 villas, all with private balconies and scenic ocean or golf course views.
A spa offering both Asian and Western treatments, seven restaurants and bars, and private events spaces sit alongside an homage to the Long Bar in Raffles Hotel Singapore, in tribute to the Hainanese inventor of the Singapore Sling.
Beautiful Ambience
The rooms and suites feature a contemporary design combined with locally-inspired accents. Artisan wood furnishings, colourful fabrics and artworks are inspired by the traditional hill tribes in Hainan.
Guests can stay three nights for the price of two, until Nov 30, including a complimentary upgrade to a Grand Ocean View Room, round-trip airport transfers, a welcome drink, daily buffet breakfast for two, and late checkout until 6pm.
