Attention Potterheads, 2017 is looking to be an exciting year. Besides the fact that this year is when Harry Potter and his friends canonically sent their kids off to Hogwarts, and therefore the year in which “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” is set, it’s also the 20th anniversary of JK Rowling’s first book, “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone”.

With this, bed-and-breakfast Llety Cynin in South Wales, UK, has rolled out an entire set-up based on the Harry Potter series.

This includes twice-weekly Wizard’s Tea events throughout 2017, where its living and dining spaces are transformed into Great Halls and Common Rooms as per the movies. During these events, guests are sorted into Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw, and order from a menu of magical creations, reported Cosmopolitan UK.

The tea snacks are served in adorable owl cages, and the Child’s Wizard Tea set includes themed bites like Match Winning Cake Pops (inspired by the Golden Snitch), Chocolate Frogs, a Sour Lollipop (that won’t burn a hole in your tongue) and Shortbread decorated in Hogwarts House colours.

The Adult’s Wizard Tea set throws in some Hot Butter Beer and Screaming Baby Cakes, inspired by the screeching Mandrake in the series.

There’s even an Overnight Family Package that includes entrance to the tea event and “a free Harry Potter-related book for each child to keep and take home”.

Llety Cynin, Llangynin Road, St Clears Carmarthenshire, SA33 4JR, UK. Bookings and more information here.
