Pregnant and travelling? This amenity kit will make your journey more pleasant
From Oct 1, Korean Air has begun providing a complimentary inflight amenity kit for pregnant passengers traveling from Korea to all its international destinations.
The newly-launched amenity kit for pregnant passengers consists of an organic blackberry foot cream, an organic skin care cream, sleeping socks made of organic cotton, tea for relieving morning sickness and a bag accessory for pregnant women.
Organic & Eco Concept
All the skin care products and sleeping socks are made of organic materials with consideration for pregnant passengers’ health, and tea for relieving morning sickness has been selected from one of the most popular organic Korean brands called ‘The Organic’.
The special bag accessory helps passengers to notify of their pregnancy when it is in the early stage, and the pouch of the kit has been designed with an eco-concept to be environmentally-friendly.
Going the Extra Mile
In order to obtain and make use of the amenity kit, passengers are to notify the airline about their pregnancy when making a reservation for their tickets. Once on board, the cabin crew will provide the kit as well as dedicated service.
In launching the new amenity kit and service, Korean Air plans to lessen the fatigue of air travel for pregnant passengers.
