7. Finca Vigia 

The home of the Nobel prize-winning wordsmith Ernest Hemingway, this modest house was purchased in 1940 by the author and was where he wrote two of his most celebrated works, “For Whom the Bell Tolls” and “The Old Man and the Sea.”. It is no secret that the author himself passionately loved the country of Cuba, and chose to reside there. The house has since been turned into a museum for fans and fellow writers alike to visit and gain inspiration from this beloved writer’s ‘secret’ world.
