Here are some of the exciting things planned for Star Wars fans:
1. Build the largest Millennium Falcon in the world
From 30 April – 2 May, Master Builder duo Daniel Steininger and Christopher Steininger, who also happen to be a father-son pair, will be at Legoland Malaysia to build a giant model of the Millennium Falcon using 200,000 Lego bricks.
Besides being able to meet the most senior Master Builder in the world, guests are invited to place their own brick on the massive creation. You’ll also get to take home a mini Millennium Falcon as a memento.
2. Witness an Imperial March
Over the weekend of 7-8 May, fans will get to witness a real-life Imperial March of Stormtroopers led by none other than Darth Vader himself. You can expect different cast characters, as well as more than 90 Star Wars costumes from the 501st Legion taking part
3. Put a stamp on your own Tie Fighter
Besides the Millennium Falcon, which will be on display till 30 June, you will also be able to help build two giant Tie Fighter displays over 7-8 May.
4. Take part in a ship building competition
Ever wanted to have your own galactic fleet? From 21 April – 8 May, parents can team up with their child to participate in the “Build Your Own Dream Lego Star Wars Starship” social media competition.
To enter, upload the best photo of your homemade starship to the Legoland Malaysia Facebook page with the hashtags #MasterYourForce and “LEGOStarWarsDays”.
Ten winners will be picked on 14 May and will be awarded special prizes.
5. Participate in a Star Wars activity trail
Every weekend throughout May, you’ll be able to participate in a Lego Star Wars activity trail which will include a treasure-hunt. Finish all the Star Wars related activities and you’ll be awarded with a gift. You can also take a picture at the Star Wars photo wall.
PS: We also hear that children who dress us as Star Wars characters will receive free entry into the park as well.
