EVA Air launches a specially-designed Hello Kitty jet for Singapore, for flights connecting to Taiwan and North America
The next time you fly to Taipei or Houston from Singapore you could be accompanied by the loveable Hello Kitty and her friends on board.
Singapore is now the proud home to one of EVA Air’s Hello Kitty jets. The Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, adorably-named “Shining Star”, will feature popular Sanrio characters such as Hello Kitty, Little Twin Stars and My Melody.
Full Hello Kitty Experience
From the moment you check in for your flight, the Hello Kitty experience will surround you. Your boarding passes, luggage tags and even “Fragile” baggage labels are all Hello Kitty-themed. Specially-designed Hello Kitty meals with cute cutlery are served on board by cabin crew in Hello Kitty aprons – a truly unique flying experience!
The Singapore-exclusive Shining Star jet design can also be found on in-flight and restroom amenities, including on the pillows and playing cards.

The EVA Air Hello Kitty Shining Star is only the second jet that features brand new seats, Wi-Fi and the latest high-definition touchscreen in-flight entertainment system.
Singapore is the first country in Southeast Asia to host an EVA Air Hello Kitty jet, making this only the 7th Hello Kitty jet in the world.
