Rope the whole family in for a unique celebration at Jellystone Park, a themed campground with outlets all over the USA. But these are no ordinary campsites — Jellystone Park is modelled after the home of the beloved cartoon, Yogi Bear.
At these grounds, which are situated in almost every state — from Colorado to Texas, and even Vancouver in Canada — families can do much more than just pitch a tent and roast marshmallows over a fire. Look out for cottages, yurts and tepees, as well as interesting activities like goat walks, fossil digging, archery sessions and geology excursions.
At the start and end of each day, Yogi and Boo Boo will visit the campsite for flag-raising and lowering ceremonies, and kids are welcome to take pictures with them.
