Take some down time and travel out to these summer festivals happening around the world, from nearby in Bali, Indonesia, to far away in Europe.

2. Summer Sonic
Where: Osaka and Tokyo, Japan
The Summer Sonic festival is a festival held from 20-21 Aug this year in both Osaka and Tokyo. Alongside indie and popular Japanese rock bands, Summer Sonic brings in huge international artists and DJs such as Fergie, Flo Rida, Panic! At the Disco, The 1975, Radiohead and Alesso. (Yes, all these big names in this year’s festival alone.)
Singapore’s iconic home-grown club Zouk will also co-host the beach stage for the first time, so head here for home feels away from home. If you can, extend your trip to experience Tokyo’s traditional Obon Festival of Souls, where you’ll see the magical glow of floating lanterns in the night coupled with the sound of Japanese drums amidst the celebration.
