This is rare opportunity to stay at historical Nakagin Capsule Tower, a rare example of Japanese Metabolism – a movement that marked Japan’s postwar cultural resurgence. This building is the world’s first example of capsule architecture built for actual use.
You cannot sleep over at Nakagin Capsule tower, but you can stay there during the day. The host will give you a tour of a Nakagin room and tell you the rules of staying there (there are many). After that, you will be able visit Nakagin any time. This listing puts you up overnight at another apartment two minutes away.
