8. Coming Up: Movie Animation Park Studios
Movie Animation Park Studios (MAPS) is an animation-themed amusement park that will soon be opening in Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia, and will feature rides modelled after animations like Megamind, The Croods and Mr Peabody and Sherman.
90s kids will enjoy these two particular attractions: Casper‘s Birthday Blast and the Smurftastic Live Show. The film animation-themed rides will be located in a section called the “Dream Zone”. There will also be a “Blast Off Zone”, a “dining and retail experience designed for space enthusiasts”, and a “Fantasy Forest Zone”.
There is currently no updated opening date, although the park is expected to be open sometime this year.
