1. Climb the world’s highest via ferrata

Enjoy Sabah’s popular Mount Kinabalu from a totally different vista by scaling it via ferrata (“iron road” in Italian) using rungs, rails and cables. At 3,800m, Mount Kinabalu’s via ferrata is the highest one in the world.

The via ferrata increases accessibility to rock faces normally only reached by mountaineers and rock climbers, through routes of different difficulties. The beginner’s route takes about two to three hours. Do make sure you meet the requirements for climbing, including being at least 10 years of age, at least 1.3m tall and ready to conquer immense heights.

Mount Kinabalu, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.
