8. Feast of Thorri
As a sign of good health and strength, Icelanders celebrate the Feast of Thorri, where delicacies like boiled sheep’s head, ram testicles, blood pudding and more “interesting” items are served. Thorri refers to winter and these celebrations usually take place in January.
