2. Nyonya

Craving for tze char? You’ve come to the right place. Nyonya is run by Malaysians, and upon entering the venue, you’ll be greeted with a slew of Singlish and other dialects.

The sambal Kang Kong comes with a nice kick and is great with a bowl of rice, while Roti Prata and Orh Lua (Oyster Omelette) are all great relievers of homesickness.

My favourite is the Prawn Mee ($6.95), which comes with a rich and thick simmered broth and a generous portion of noodles.  This place will hit the spot for any homesick Asian.
