3. Camperdown, Sydney

A small university town that glows with vibrant spirit, Camperdown is teeming with students from the University of Sydney – which is how you know this is where the best haunts for affordable fare are.

It’s here you’ll be able to sniff out rare gems like vintage thrift stores – for example, check out Pigeon Ground – and an all-day restaurant and bar affixed to an actual motorcycle shop. Cocktails at the Deus Bar and Kitchen are all, naturally, named after motorcycles.
