These are Southeast Asia’s first Hello Kitty themed rooms, designed in collaboration with Sanrio
Last year, fans rejoiced as Singapore welcomed not only its first Hello Kitty Robot Exhibition, but also its first Hello Kitty Cafe.
Now, they’ll be able to sleep in the cosy company of the Sanrio character too.
Just 20 minutes drive away, Hotel Jen Puteri Harbour is now home to Southeast Asia’s very first Hello Kitty themed rooms.
With the presence of nearby attractions like Sanrio Hello Kitty Town and Legoland Malaysia, it seemed like natural progression that character themed rooms like these should pop up.
Launched in collaboration with Sanrio, 12 rooms have been designed with three distinct themes in mind.
And squeal we did, as we explored all the rooms, marveling at the amount of details that went into making each room a dream for Hello Kitty fans to behold.
Here’s why we think you’ll love it too:
1. There are three adorable themes
The rooms are designed with three overarching themes in mind, namely the swashbuckling Sailor, the romantic Pink Series and the magical Hello Kitty in OZ.
Of the three, we found ourselves inevitably drawn to the magical Hello Kitty in OZ rooms, which are inspired by the adventures in the classic tale of “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz”.
The Pink Series is a close second, with rooms ranging from pastel pinks to dark boudoir reds.
Finally, the Sailor theme pays homage to the hotel’s harbour location, via boyish, nautical elements.
