6. Bungee-jump into a live volcano

You don’t have to be a young virgin to be hauled into this volcano. Travellers can bungee-jump from a helicopter into the gaping, bubbling maw of the Villarrica Volcano in Chile.

Jumpers will drop from an altitude of 10,000ft (about 3km) and reach within 700ft of the actual pool of molten lava.
